Brother cs6000i is same as my old one that threading were easy to figure out. However. I am not crazy about the LED display and stitch selection feature. Sometimes,I have already broken one needle after I set the needle position to fit the presser foot I wanted to use but the needle broke on the presser plate below. For my new cs6000i I like the self threading needle, although cs6000i sometime gets a little problem . Addition to , I like the excellent stitching. I like the chance to go at different level of speeds. It was a pretty sewing machine I like or love this brother cs6000i sewing machine.

                         My experience has been so bad.

                          How I make adjustment or how I use thread . The tension of stitch is a mess. Sewing machine makes plenty of mess loops on the bottom and makes more mess of loops every time I go in turn back. I could not adjust the tension of stitch for making a difference.

                           Not only It hits needles every time I had sew but also It is jams on needles, too. I can not sew it .

                I have had to come back for using the 20 year old machine .

             I have buy Brother cs6000i sewing machine on my web due to the request of member of yahoo group as a valuable gift for his wife who had had problems ordering he asked me placing the order for valuable gift of his wife. But Yahoo.com claimed me at a 53 year old man who had not sewn anything all life but order this machine and don't give me a little commission .

Brother CS6000I 60-Stitch Computerized Free-Arm Sewing Machine.

                 I have had Brother cs6000i for about 4 weeks and am Loving It. I had never sewn before but now I can sew a pillow covers and clothes bags ,Oh it is amazing.
                 I review lots of research online before making decision on brother cs6000i . I saw the cs6000i manual a little detailed to understand and hope this manual told more about how and when to use feet/needles, etc. I suppose that is more details about how to sew a clothes. The Brother cs6000i sewing machine was send with a lot of needles,bobbins,and other pieces( at that time I don't know what is it) .
                Other reviews I have read told that they had a problem with the thread 'jamming' up but I have not face this problem . Cs6000i is flimsy and lightweight. I would highly recommend buy brother cs6000i to everyone who would like to learn sewing.

I haven't stopped sewing since I buy brother cs6000i sewing machine for Christmas .The buttonholes are so easy for usage now, actually, everything is so easy too,from beginners to excellent seamstress, anyone can use it. My 11yr old Granddaughter has been see by my side for watching and learning.                          I have been sewing on an old 1950's brother sewing machine for the last years. This sewing machine is a beautiful shape, but It lack more function. My lover husband buy brother cs6000i for me for New Year. and so far, it's fabulous. The best $160 I have spent in awhile.

                        My complaint is that this sewing machine does not fit in my old sewing cabinet. Brother cs6000i has a drop down feature then user can hide the machine within the cabinet , the sewing machine is self contained, so it is sitting on top of my cabinet now.
                       However , I like this machine . It work great . If anyone would like new sewing machine but buyer don't know to buy what brand , Brother cs6000i is suitable for buyer's demand. It is user's answer.

                    I buy brother cs6000i sewing machine after I stoped working with a Singer machine that I used it for 12 years. I feel hesitant,pity and soured by singer machine. But I am necessary to use sewing machine to save my cost due to I have four son . Finally I decide to buy new brother sewing machine after i have reviewed for 1 months , this activities loss a lot of my time.
                   Brother cs6000i is simple with many special function .I learn a little more new skilled. It is great and marvelous. I absolutely love it.
                    I feel like I could use this machine for a lot of years . I am starting to enjoy sewing more and more . The more I use machine the more I realize I will have fun with the special function on this machine. New machine was send with many additional pieces and it's manual is easy to read and do.
                    The only problem I ran into after I bought it for one week I broke the needle because it hit a pin. Changing the needle didn't seem to build a problem but I was inserting the new needle I dropped it into the back of the new brother cs6000i machine. It happened twice times . My husband help me about two or three minutes to solve this problem by taking the bottom pieces of the it off and the needle place in right position .It was an easy problem to solve. This is only one problem since I has buy this new machine.
                      I can say every one that this is a great machine for someone who can sew a bit but would like more. cs6000i is easy to use and seems very strong and well made.

                            I buy brother cs6000i over a month ago. I was sudenly enamored by the computerized stitch selector that sets a recommended default stitch length and width . The LCD display tells user which foot to use and those are conveniently labeled with letter values - like crochet hooks.
                            I have used the sewing machine to make a quilt (heavy work), sew dance skirts (very flimsy material), do mending, and clothing which includes decorative stitching. It does a wonderful job.
                           One of the features I also impress is the needle threader (so easy to use) and what they call automatic bobbin threader , it really is an assisted method by lining up the thread in groves that make is so easy to accomplish the tasks.
                            I had error in the machine on me ,when I had a problematic material that "shed" little fibers in the bottom. It is simply cleaning the machine routinely while sewing with this material did the trick. Ahh, I almost forgot to tell you can use sewing machine with or without a pedal - I love it, too. Brother CS6000i sewing machine makes me fun to sew clothes.

                 My 8 year old son asked Santa Claus in Chistmas Eve for a new sewing machine and Santa buy Brother cs6000i to use. He hasn't tried threading , he feels really at ease using this new sewing machine . Adding value is that you can set the speed from slow to fast and you can use the foot pedal that is the speed as it goes. He have not to worry about how much he is weighting on the pedal.
                 The other down side of machine is its' cover. It doesn't cover a enclosed top. Dust can move in and it can not lock shut. I hope it cover and attached too. Other than that we are so happy.
                   My son is enjoying the creative freedom machine . and I happy too.

   I have been sewing for ten years now on a basic Kemore model ,only 5 stiches. I've finished 3 full size quilts and other items ,nursing covers, burb cloths, kitchen towels, ect, on Brother CS6000i . I never would have gotten some of this properties I don't think to got with this machine . I do plan upgrading on one day , I wanted something to strength my horizon, and not costing me an leg and arm . So I went to local quilt shop and I walked out of that shop dissappointed that there was nothing under $700 that the someone needed to sell me. I visited at Joann's and online, and I am confident that was sewing machine under $700 . I mean if it only lasts 2 years I felt like it was worth it.

                The special feet for quilting have been great. I really impress the needle threader. It is absolutely quiet, so I can sew at night time. Brother CS6000i allows me to work with other stitch patterns that I didn't have before. The Free-Arm part is really wide and I could get some stocking I was making for Christmas around it. Happy Quilting and Happy life. I love Brother CS6000i.

                     P.Bake : I sew clothes in every day . I buy Brother cs6000i for four years. first time I was in love with it, wonderful features were great and all the stitches were wonderful. Brother cs6000i didn't take long before machine started acting up and now it was break on working every 5 months. Machine may just be that it is not made for such frequent usage, It would have been cheaper to buy a whole new machine than to keep forking over $50 here and there to maintain this one.
                    If you are looking for an cheap machine for beginners this machine is a good select.              You almost much get what you pay for so if you are a sewer than I would recommend forking over a little extra cash and getting a more durable machine.
