                         Hello  , Before I buy brother cs6000i , I review many tons of sewing machines , prices, functions, etc. I think this is a fantastic sewing machine. But I have one problem that is the manual . It  comes with machine. I have already read this manual but I don't understand it's content .  It is so unclear and making me confusing . I think over about content on the book but I is still dull.  It is a manual for non-human user with robotical language. Brother should change robotical language to human language .

                             I have visited to  Brother website. It is a robotical website,too. I try to find new manual . Maybe I am human so I can't find it. I feel disappointed about brother service . Maybe ,Next time I will see other.

                             I sewed a lot of clothes such as stuffed animal , made dresses, etc for my kids . Finally , I think this brother cs6000i is great sewing machine but it's manual is bad.

                          I buy brother cs6000i sewing machine 3 weeks ago. Cs6000i arrived yesterday.  I spent time yesterday to learn how to use this machine manual. And today, I start to sew. I feel impressed with the good stitches. My old machine was  bad and give more a headache. The new Cs6000i work smoothly and quiet .
                          The stitches is only problem. It started to jam up, lock up, and give me  E6 errors. First time I help myself to solve problem but it doesn't work . So I call to Customer service for helping . Customer service told me to read on page no. 60 in the manual and hang up the phone . I tried to contact them by mailing , email , fax . But nothing happened so I take new brother sewing machine to customer service center . I waited for week for repairing . I was disappointed for this service . If I can return ,I will do it immediately . And change to Singer.

You must turn it off, and  restart it again in order to unlock the computer password. I was rarely surprised to find it's composition is nearly  plastic. Really,my old machine was   a steel workhorse made by Montgomery Ward over 30 years ago.  It was made like a Sherman Tank . The old one is very heavy .  I still keep my old workhorse for thick materials . I think it is an easy to understand and use this brother cs6000i sewing machine .                  I have had Brother cs6000i for about 4 weeks and am Loving It. I had never sewn before but now I can sew a pillow covers and clothes bags ,Oh it is amazing.
                 I review  lots of research online before making decision on brother cs6000i .  I saw the cs6000i manual a little detailed to understand and hope this manual told more about how and when to use feet/needles, etc. I suppose that is more details about how to sew a clothes.  The Brother cs6000i sewing machine was send with a lot  of needles,bobbins,and other pieces( at that time I don't know what is it) .

                         I have been sewing on an old 1950's brother sewing machine for the last  years. This sewing machine is a beautiful shape, but It lack more function. My lover husband buy brother cs6000i for me for New Year. and so far, it's fabulous.  The best $160 I have spent in awhile.

                        My  complaint is that this sewing machine  does not fit in my old sewing cabinet. Brother cs6000i has a drop down feature then user can hide the machine within the cabinet , the sewing machine is self contained, so it is  sitting on top of my cabinet now.

                    I buy brother cs6000i sewing machine after I stoped working  with a Singer machine that I used it for 12 years.   I feel hesitant,pity and  soured by singer machine. But I am necessary to use sewing machine to save my cost due to I have four son . Finally I decide to buy new brother sewing machine after i have reviewed for 1 months , this activities loss a lot of my time.
                   Brother cs6000i is simple with many special function .I learn a little more new skilled. It is great and marvelous. I absolutely love it.
                    I feel like I could  use this machine for a lot of years . I am  starting to enjoy sewing more and more .                     The only problem I ran into  after I bought it for one week I broke the needle because  it hit a pin. Changing the needle didn't seem to build a problem but  I was inserting the new needle I dropped it into the back of the new brother cs6000i machine. It happened twice times . My husband help me about two or three minutes to solve this problem by taking the bottom pieces of the it off and the needle place in right position .It was an easy problem to solve. This is only one problem since I has buy this new machine.

                            I buy brother cs6000i  over a month ago. I was sudenly enamored by the computerized stitch selector that sets a recommended default stitch length and width . The LCD display  tells user which foot to use and those are conveniently labeled with letter values - like crochet hooks.
                            I have used the sewing machine to make a quilt (heavy work),  sew  dance skirts (very flimsy material), do mending, and clothing which includes decorative stitching. It does a wonderful job.
                           One of the features I also impress is the needle threader (so easy to use) and what they call automatic bobbin threader , it really is an assisted method by lining up the thread in groves that make is so easy to accomplish the tasks.
                            I  had error in the machine  on me ,when I had a  problematic material that "shed" little fibers in the bottom. It is simply cleaning the machine routinely while sewing with this material did the trick.  Ahh, I almost forgot to tell you can use sewing machine  with or without a pedal - I love it, too. Brother CS6000i sewing machine makes me fun to sew clothes.
